За да го поттикне директното учеството на граѓаните во утврдувањето на главните приоритети во нивните локални заедници, Форумот за граѓански дијалог, во пресрет на Локалните избори 2021, организираше серија консултативни средби во девет општини: Центар, Битола, Штип, Тетово, Струга, Кавадарци, Крива Паланка, Свети Николе и Демир Хисар.
– Беа спроведени две онлајн анкети кои опфатија над 150 граѓани кои се изјаснија за клучните приоритети и проблеми во нивните општини (Центар и Крива Паланка).
– Беа одржани 18 консултативни средби со граѓаните, 9 јавни дебати и средби со кандидатите за градоначалници и кандидатите за советници, како и 9 средби со избраните градоначалници и советници во локалните самоуправи.
– На консултативните средби и јавните дебати учествуваа околу 500 граѓани кои ги дадоа своите предлози и мислења.
Според жителите на општина Центар главни проблеми и приоритети се:
In order to encourage the direct participation of the citizens in determining the main priorities in their local communities, the Forum for Civil Dialogue, in anticipation of the Local Elections 2021, organized a series of consultative meetings in nine municipalities: Centar, Bitola, Stip, Tetovo, Struga, Kavadarci, Kriva Palanka, Sveti Nikole and Demir Hisar.
– Two online surveys were conducted which included over 150 citizens who spoke about the key priorities and problems in their municipalities (Centar and Kriva Palanka).
– 18 consultative meetings were held with the citizens, 9 public debates and meetings with the candidates for mayors and the candidates for councilors, as well as 9 meetings with the elected mayors and councilors in the local self-governments.
– About 500 citizens participated in the consultative meetings and public debates and gave their suggestions and opinions.
According to the residents of the municipality of Centar, the main problems and priorities are:
1. Urbanism – Abolition or suspension of existing detailed urban plans and adoption of new ones.
2. Environment – New parks and green areas.
3. Infrastructure – Solving traffic problems – parking lots, one-way traffic regime, bicycle and pedestrian paths, inventory and register of underground, unused parking lots.
4. Utilities – Improving communal hygiene, introducing communal inspection and communal police.
5. Improved waste management – More regular collection, more containers, possibility of sorting and recycling.
6. Corruption, transparency and accountability – Improving services for citizens. Reduction of administration. Improved communication with citizens – website of the municipality, online tools for citizen involvement, open days, public gatherings, public discussions. Revitalization of local urban communities.
