Youth Cultural Center- Bitola, on 20.12.2024 in Krushevo, as part of the “Forum for Civil Dialogue” coalition, organized a public discussion with the municipal administration, institutions and citizens.
At this public discussion, the priorities that were highlighted by the citizens were presented, as well as the monitoring that was done along with the results that have been achieved so far. These priorities were detected in past activities from previous years of implementation of this initiative and are of particular importance for the citizens of the municipality of Krushevo:
- Reconstruction of streets and roads
- Reconstruction of the road from the gas station to the historical site of Meckin Kamen and the paragliding center.
- Section two in Borino built, as well as reconstruction and extension of the road to and in Sazhdevo.
- Funds have been provided for streets in Mitrani and Yakrenovo.
- Improvement of water supply
- The reconstruction of part of the water supply network in the city is in the final phase.
- Replacement of old water meters with new ones in the city.
- Development of mountain tourism
- A downhill mountain biking trail has been built, and the project for the construction of a professional trail is also being implemented
- Reconstruction of the bypass road
- This project will be implemented in 2025.
- Improvement of the business climate and employment of young people
- Hotel “Montana” has a new owner and it employs mostly young people.
The Youth Cultural Center – Bitola (member of the Civic Dialogue Forum) and the Municipality of Krushevo, in December 2022, signed the Memorandum for the Implementation of Civic Priorities for the Period 2023 – 2025.
The public discussion also discussed the manner in which consultations are held with the citizens of the Municipality of Krushevo regarding the detection of the needs and problems of citizens and how they are integrated into the plans and programs of the Municipality of Krushevo for the following year. The public discussion is part of the activities of the Civic Dialogue Forum, led by the NGO Infocenter, within the framework of the project “Active Citizens and Participatory Democracy at the Local Level”, supported by the Olof Palme International Center from Sweden.
