We invite you to apply for the Thematic Session “Youth and employment policies in Western Balkans” that will take place November 21-23, 2023 in Skopje, North Macedonia.
The Thematic Session is organized as a part of the Project “Regional Youth Dialogue for Europe – RYDE”.
The Thematic Session organized in Skopje, North Macedonia is open for young professionals, students, young activists, policy makers and youth from political party from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Serbia and North Macedonia (older than 18 years). Participants will be chosen according to their academic, activist and other achievements.
Participants will be introduced to the existing employment policies in the Western Balkans region and have a broad overview of the current employment policies and other employment documents that are youth related. They will also have opportunity to analyse specific policy documents related to youth and employment in the Western Balkans countries, and be introduced to case studies in order to gain a deeper understanding of the content and impact of these policies. Finally, all participants will gain in-depth understanding of a public policy document structure, setting of the objectives and measures, legal analyses, measuring of the social impact of a public policy, impact on youth and on vulnerable groups. The Thematic Session “Youth and employment policies in Western Balkans” will be followed by one mentoring day where the participants will be able to work with the mentor and practice the gained knowledge on preparing and analysing policy documents.
