Today, October 13, 2023, the association Radika-DE from Debar and the Citizens’ Initiative of Women (GIZ) from Sveti Nikole, in the beautiful setting of the “Kodzadzik” Memorial Center, known as the Memorial House of Kemal Atatürk’s father in the village of Kodzadzik in Centar župa signed a memorandum of cooperation.
By signing the memorandum, Radika-DE and GIZ committed to close cooperation and opened the way for building partnerships and joint promotion of the economic empowerment of women from rural areas.
The meeting was addressed by the president of Radika-DE, Fadrija Mustafovska, the president of the branch of Radika-DE in Centar Zupa, Benazi Shemovska, Irina Pockova, president of GIZ, as well as Rankica Božinovska, who gave a brief presentation of the opportunities offered by the Incentive Agency of the Development of Agriculture (APRZ) and presented the organization Moja Farma from Gostivar.
At the event, handicrafts and organic products from women entrepreneurs from Debar, Centar Župa, Gostivar and Sveti Nikole were exhibited and promoted. The event is part of the local action for economic empowerment of rural women ” Similarities bring us closer” of the association Radika-DE, which is implemented within the project “Alliances for active citizenry” of the NGO Infocenter, with support from the European Union.
