“Personal data protection” training was held on 23-24 September 2023, at h. Arena in Popova Shapka. The training, with the trainer Arben Gudachi, layer and activist, was attended by 15 participants from 11 organizations, including NGO Info-centre.
Participants were introduced with the basics of the Law on Personal Data Protection, establishing of a system for the protection of collected personal data and step by step to full implementation of the obligations for small CSOs. As a follow up, provided brief introductory consultation, the local partners will be guided through the process of basic documents and procedures preparation that will take place in 2024.
The training is part of an annual program of the NGO Info-center for strengthening the capacities of civil society organizations, which is implemented through the projects “Alliances for active citizenry” supported by the European Union and “Active citizens for participatory democracy at the local level” supported by the Olof Palme International Center.
