In cooperation with the Women’s Civic Initiative – GIŽ, on April 9, 2024, a workshop for support and economic empowerment of women from rural areas was held in Sveti Nikole.
Twelve female participants from the region, entrepreneurs who make knitted products, organic marmalade, jams and other handmade products, actively participated in the workshop for product design and packaging at home. Through practical work, they have the opportunity to come up with simple packaging and label designs and declarations. At the same time, they also received practical ideas on how to promote domestic products.
The workshop is part of the NGO Infocenter’s annual program for strengthening the capacities of civil society organizations, which is implemented through the projects “Alliances for Active Citizenry” supported by the European Union and “Active Citizens for Participatory Democracy at the Local Level” supported by the Olof Palme International Center from Sweden.
