On November 19, 2024, in the organization of the Association Organization of Women from Strumica, a meeting was held in Strumica between the active women’s community and representatives from the municipality.
The key findings and recommendations from the research on the participation of women in civil consultations for the development of the annual programs and budgets of the Municipality of Strumica and the degree of realization of the priorities of women from 6 Women’s Circles (two urban and 4 local communities ), were presented and discussed at the event.
The meeting was attended by activists from the Women’s Circles, councillors, the President of the Council of the Municipality of Strumica.
The activity is part of the annual program of the Organization of Women from Strumica, supported by Akcija Zdruzenska and the project of the NGO Info-center “Active Citizens for Participatory Democracy at Local Level”, which is implemented with the support of the Olof Palme International Center.
