On December 5, 2025 an exhibition of photos ”Dignified old age through photography that tells a story”, made by members of the Day Care Center for Actively Aging Senior Citizens at the Red Cross Kriva Palanka was opened at EU House Kriva Palanka.
The photographs reflect personal stories of senior citizens, told through the lens and moments of everyday life that bring emotion, wisdom and authenticity.
The exhibition is the result of previously implemented educational workshops, under the mentorship of an experienced photographer, in which participants learned the basics of photography and visual art and created their own photographs.
The aim of the action is to strengthen the self-confidence of senior citizens and to contribute to the development of their skills, creativity and perspective, as well as to encourage greater intergenerational connection and respect.
The exhibition is part of the small action “Dignified Aging through Photos that Tell a Story”, organized by the Center for Audiovisual Arts from Kriva Palanka, within the framework of the project “Alliances for Active Citizenry”, implemented by the NGO Infocenter with the support of the European Union.
