Coordination Meeting of the Forum for Civic Dialogue
On October 22, 2024, NGO Info-centre organized the annual coordination meeting of the Forum for Civic Dialogue (FCD) at the Park Hotel in Skopje.
The meeting discussed the current activities of the FCD, the implementation of the online survey to examine the views of citizens regarding the resolution of civic priorities in six municipalities (Kriva Palanka, Sveti Nikole, Struga, Shtip, Krushevo and Demir Hisar) and plans for organizing public events.
The meeting also discussed the possibilities for further functioning of the Forum and its strengthening and expansion in the light of the Local elections in 2025.
FGD was formed in anticipation of the 2021 Local Elections, by six partner civil society organizations (NGO Infocenter, Youth Cultural Center-Bitola, Community Center of the Municipality of Struga, Glasen Tekstilec, Multikultura and Idea SEE), in cooperation with three other civil society organizations Spektar, Civic Initiative of Women from Sveti Nikole and Center for Media Development.
Over the years, FCD has implemented a series of activities to encourage the direct participation of citizens in the public discussion on the priorities, problems and needs in their local communities.
The FCD is supported by the Olof Palme International Center from Sweden.
