As part of the initiative of the Forum for Civil Dialog, the Civic Initiative of Women GIZ Sveti Nikole, held a consultative meeting with citizens, at which the most important local priorities that affect all citizens were identified: public services, local economic development, local democracy and good governance, social services, health, and sports.
The goal of the meeting is for citizens to directly set these priorities before the mayoral candidates.
So far, such consultative meetings have also been held with representatives of various groups: women from rural areas, young and elderly citizens, employed and unemployed, people with special needs – in order for their priority needs to become part of the municipal local programs.
The consultative meeting was organized by the Civic Initiative of Women GIZ Sveti Nikole, supported by the NGO Infocenter, within the framework of the project “Active Citizens and Participatory Democracy at the Local Level”, funded by the Olof Palme International Center from Sweden.
