The Youth Cultural Center-Bitola, on November 22, 2024 in Demir Hisar, as part of the coalition “Forum for Civic Dialogue”, organized a public discussion with representatives of the municipal administration, institutions and citizens.

At this public discussion, the priorities that were highlighted by the citizens for the period 2023-2025 and their implementation so far were presented. These priorities were part of the monitoring during the year.

The public discussion was also attended by the Mayor of the Municipality of Demir Hisar, Mr. Nikola Najdovski, who gave a full overview of the implementation of the projects that were implemented by the municipality.

What is of particular importance is that through such initiatives, dialogue is encouraged between the municipality, institutions and citizens for the purpose of good planning of the municipal budget and the implementation of projects and programs on an annual basis.

The public discussion is part of the activities of the Civic Dialogue Forum, led by the NGO Info-center, within the framework of the project “Active Citizens and Participatory Democracy at Local Level”, supported by the Olof Palme International Center from Sweden.
