МOn 15 October 2025 in Demir Hisar, the Youth Cultural Center Bitola organized a public debate with mayoral candidates and citizens of the Municipality of Demir Hisar, within the framework of the Forum for Civil Dialog.
The public debate was attended by the mayoral candidates Oliver Ivanovski (independent candidate), Marjanče Stojanovski (independent candidate), and Zlatko Kuzmanovski (SDSM), who presented their plans and promises for the development of Demir Hisar.
The topics covered the most important local civic priorities:
- Infrastructure and traffic
- Urbanism and spatial planning
- Local economic development
- Youth and youth policies
- Sports and recreation
The aim of these activities is to foster civic dialogue, which—following the election of mayors and councillors—will continue to actively monitor the work of local self-government and the implementation of civic priorities.
The event was organized by the Youth Cultural Center Bitola, part of the Forum for Civil Dialog, within the framework of the project “Active Citizens and Participatory Democracy at Local Level,” implemented by NGO Info-centre with the support of the Olof Palme International Center from Sweden.
