Two educational workshops for pensioners were successfully implemented at the Day Center for Active Aging at the Red Cross Kriva Palanka on August 25, 2025.
About thirty participants were introduced to the basics of photography, portraiture and visual storytelling. The workshops, titled “Dignified Aging through Photos that Tell a Story”, were led by professional photographer Gjorgji Kostovski.
The senior citizens actively participated in the practical work and were very interested in acquiring new skills. Under the mentoring guidance of Kostovski, they will create unique photo profiles and thematic photographs, which will be presented at an exhibition open to all citizens, media and local institutions.
The activities contribute to greater visibility, cultural expression and mutual connection of senior citizens.
The event was organized by the Center for Audiovisual Arts Kriva Palanka, as part of the project “Alliances for Active Citizenry” implemented by the NGO Info-centre, with the support of the European Union.
