The youth from the village of Izvor, Municipality of Chashka, together with the team of the Center for Active Citizens AKTIVO in partnership with the NGO Infocenter through the project “Alliances for Active Citizenry” supported by the European Union in cooperation with the Municipality of Chashka, have developed and adopted their Annual Program of the Youth Club for 2026.
The program is the result of a multi-month process of involving young people through trainings, creative workshops and meetings with representatives from the Municipality of Chashka. It contains activities that will enable to encourage youth participation, to develop their creative and professional skills, to promote the values of rural development, and to strengthen cooperation between young people and local institutions.
With this, the youth from Izvor have secured own functional and open space where they can be heard, included and supported, and the program will be their guide for the realization of ideas and initiatives during 2026. The Center for Active Citizens AKTIVO will continue to support the process and provide opportunities for young people from rural areas to actively contribute to the improvement of the community.
