In cooperation with the association Radika De from Debar, on May 8 and 9, 2023, two workshops for support and economic empowerment of women from rural areas were held in the municipalities of Debar and Centar Župa.
Twelve participants from Debar and ten participants from Centar Župa, entrepreneurs who make knitted products, jewelry, organic marmalades and jams and other handmade products, actively participated in the workshops for design and packaging of products in home conditions.
At the workshops, they had the opportunity through practical work to conceive and implement simple packaging and label and declaration designs. At the same time, they also gained practical ideas on how to promote domestic products on social networks.
The workshops for the economic empowerment of women, organized and held within the framework of the program of the association Radika De from Debar, supported by Akcija Zdruzenska, we supported through the project “Active citizens and participatory democracy at the local level”, supported by the international center Olof Palme from Sweden. The events were also supported by Municipalities Debar and Centar Zhupa.
